Today I got to tutor history for the first time. It went great! The student kept saying how helpful I was and how much fun he was having. Will meet again in a few days. :)

Then! Avigail declared nap time and climbed into her bed on her own. And she is still asleep.

We're marathoning The Office (US version) and Toby the HR guy gives me flash backs to when I was the HR person at my old job. So much ridiculousness, and a quiet personality that tends to not fight it very hard. Only the characters in The Office are way nicer than some of the characters I worked with. Though equally quirky as a whole!

Tonight I listened to Beatles Radio on Pandora. I spontaneously prayed aloud the very silly prayer: "Dear God, Please bring Paul McCartney to Heaven, because I want to see him in concert SOMETIME!"

I had tickets to see him in Milwaukee three days ago; I had to sell them. That's the second time I've had to sell Paul McCartney tickets. The first was ( Read more... )

I'll post more details sometime when I'm less eager to get to bed, but I'm leaving my current job, probably sometime in early January. I'll be tutoring, working on some teaching credentials, and staying home with my baby.

Yeesh. My mother-in-law is in town for five days and she's spent most of today shopping by herself, fleeing the horrifying awkwardness of me throwing my iPhone at Ben, hitting Ben, yelling at Ben, then curling up against him and crying. Right in front of her.
Why? Because he teased me too much about heating milk until the pan got scorched.

Yesterday I took the ten-minute walk to Subway for lunch. As I walked, I prayed for people, shallow-feeling prayers. I prayed to grow deeper with God.
